Gord Ross joined Capital Direct Management as the Regional Vice President, Sales for Central Canada in November 2024. Gord works closely with some of Canada’s brightest investment advisors, those who see the value that alternative investments like Capital Direct I Income Trust can bring to their investment portfolios. With 25+ years of experience in the asset management industry, the majority in direct sales or sales leadership roles, Gord’s insights and thought leadership are valued by the advisory teams he works with. Gord is a graduate of the University of Western Ontario with a major in economics, and he also has his Certified Financial Planner (CFP) designation. When he’s not travelling the country representing Capital Direct, Gord spends his time hiking outdoors with his spouse, Jennifer, and their two dogs, Remmi and Luna. Gord has been to 18 concerts so far in 2026, so suffice to say he loves live music. In winter, Gord likes to hibernate, and in summer he can be found at his cottage relaxing on the deck or sitting around a roaring bonfire with family and friends, or out in his fishing boat working one of his favourite fishing spots on Lake Couchiching.
