Local Government in New Zealand consists of 78 local, regional and unitary councils. The Far North District Council is the most northern territorial authority and serves the residents of Kaitaia, Kaikohe, Kawakawa, Kerikeri, Paihia and Russell, as well as several smaller settlements and rural and Māori communities. We are a growing district of 71,000 people spread over 7,324km². The Far North district stretches from Cape Rēinga at the northern tip of New Zealand down to the Bay of Islands and Hokianga.

Karin Yorfido has been in the financial services space for over 25 years and has deep subject matter experience across various sectors of the industry. By trade, Karin is a computer science engineer and has held various roles within software development, customer onboarding and relationship management. Karin spent over two decades at RPM Technologies prior to its acquisition by Broadridge in 2019, most notably as the Executive Vice President of Business Development & Client Solutions. Since officially joining Broadridge in 2019 following the acquisition and apprising her new role as General Manager in July 2021, Karin has been fundamental to driving Canada’s Global Technology & Operations (GTO) strategy for growth of the business. She works closely with the GTO leadership team to further expand Broadridge’s GTO footprint in Canada, bringing new capabilities and next generation-technologies to Broadridge’s clients.
